Kramer Becomes New Producer in Residence at Citizen Studios

Citizen Studios is thrilled to welcome composer, musician, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist  Kramer as our newest producer in residence. Kramer is the founder of the label Shimmy-Disc. In the 1980s & 90s, he produced hundreds of recordings at his Noise New York and Noise New Jersey studios. As a producer, he helped to create seminal recordings for artists as diverse as Daniel Johnston, Galaxie 500, Half Japanese, Pussy Galore, Urge Overkill, Will Oldham, and LOW, to name but a small few. He lives and works in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
